AVAP begins the evaluation of undergraduate degrees from universities of Valencia and develop a monitoring program
the Valencia d'Avaluació i Prospective (AVAP) has begun the process of assessing new degree that will complete the educational offerings of the academic year 2010-2011 in all Valencian universities and soon will launch a monitoring program for all titles offered, as the bank said in a statement.
This procedure responds to the new higher education framework set by the Bologna Declaration of 1999, initiating a process of European convergence involves the reform of the structure and organization of higher education based on three cycles, grade, Masters and PhD. The principles of this common area are based on mobility, recognition of qualifications and lifelong learning.
AVAP The assessment will focus on the principles laid down for implementation of university proposals, such as adaptation to the demands of socio-economic selective implementation of qualifications that meets the criteria of efficiency, avoiding the oversupply of seats, and that teachers respond to the quality criteria to ensure adequate training.
Thus, the Valencia noted that, after evaluation of the 166 proposals submitted and subsequent approval, will be formed the map of global supply of university education.
