About 300 people are currently enrolled in a course taught Chinese at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

About 300 people have already enrolled in a Chinese course that has hosted the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) and two teachers who will teach native of Changchun University (People's Republic of China) and currently in the ULPGC.

The course for the university community, will take place thanks to a collaboration agreement signed in 2009 between the ULPGC and Changchun Normal University to promote the study of Chinese language and culture, said in a note ULPGC press.

Thus, the workshop has 40 hours and 4 ECTS credits, and will begin to be taught from 18 February. Places are limited and registration period will remain open until 12 February.

addition, among the agreements reached by the two leading universities, fostering collaboration and cooperation for the establishment of the Confucius Institute, an institution dedicated to raising awareness of Chinese culture and language, the exchange of scientific knowledge and promote mobility and exchange of students, faculty and administrative staff and services.
