burning bush of Puebla industry and foreign entrepreneurs, 1900-1930

Introduction:

The study developed here refers to the burning bush of Puebla industry and entrepreneurs that led between 1900 and 1930 approximately, mostly to two groups of foreigners (Lebanese and English) and a U.S. citizen known character: William Oscar Jenkins. Given my original training in economics and after having devoted to the study of the contemporary situation in the domestic textile industry, I was familiar with this type of study but for decades. At the suggestion of Dr. Leticia Gamboa study the knitwear industry in the textile industry and discover interesting things on this issue, I focused on trying to analyze it, since it is an issue that had not been studied and therefore remained untouched .

In the early twentieth century one of the branches that reached out internationally was that of the commonly known knitwear and hosiery. The manufacture of this type of industry was first done by hand, later used machines that used water power to steam then changing. "In Mexico, as in many corners of the world, the branch of knitting began to develop from the tissue of cotton thread" 1. Time after cotton is blended with other fibers and synthetic fibers are used recently for the production of knitwear.

The emergence of neoliberal rule, a comparison of Mexico and Peru

Introduction:

Not everything is neoliberalism. This is a sentence with which I became interested, somehow, by subject. While it contains some truth had just begun to investigate the While neoliberalism is not responsible for all the ills of our time, is the context in which frames the development of more specific phenomena such as gender relations, growth poverty and social exclusion. If neoliberalism is not everything, then the question that arose is why it is alluded to repeatedly in studies of contemporary social phenomena. Perhaps the limits of its influence have been drawn into public areas such as the dismantling of the state. There are studies that strive to link phenomena further impoverishment with neoliberalism and research on the impact of neoliberal policies implemented by a new state. However, what we want to do in this thesis is to reflect on the specificity of neoliberal processes thought to its consequences in all spheres of life. Our work is designed to know what were the broader social historical processes that have given cause to a neoliberal project in Mexico and Peru.

We
understand neoliberalism as a new form of domination that has generated a structural poverty, social inequality and exclusion. In this regard, those who defend the positions or neoliberal policies (IMF and World Bank) arise due to the lack of productivity of the countries, however from a Marxist interpretation there is an explanation on the role of millions of people in poverty, where their existence undoubtedly relates to the new form of capitalism of flexible accumulation.
