The emergence of neoliberal rule, a comparison of Mexico and Peru

Introduction:

Not everything is neoliberalism. This is a sentence with which I became interested, somehow, by subject. While it contains some truth had just begun to investigate the While neoliberalism is not responsible for all the ills of our time, is the context in which frames the development of more specific phenomena such as gender relations, growth poverty and social exclusion. If neoliberalism is not everything, then the question that arose is why it is alluded to repeatedly in studies of contemporary social phenomena. Perhaps the limits of its influence have been drawn into public areas such as the dismantling of the state. There are studies that strive to link phenomena further impoverishment with neoliberalism and research on the impact of neoliberal policies implemented by a new state. However, what we want to do in this thesis is to reflect on the specificity of neoliberal processes thought to its consequences in all spheres of life. Our work is designed to know what were the broader social historical processes that have given cause to a neoliberal project in Mexico and Peru.

We
understand neoliberalism as a new form of domination that has generated a structural poverty, social inequality and exclusion. In this regard, those who defend the positions or neoliberal policies (IMF and World Bank) arise due to the lack of productivity of the countries, however from a Marxist interpretation there is an explanation on the role of millions of people in poverty, where their existence undoubtedly relates to the new form of capitalism of flexible accumulation.

Daily life in the division "Los Héroes Puebla", forms of socialization from the field neoliberal

Introduction:

This thesis analyzes the social implications that occur after the construction of large real estate circuits in the peripheral area of \u200b\u200bthe city of Puebla. On the social implications should be understood the process of inhabiting the place and the actions that (re) configure site-specific. From this perspective, the residents of a housing subdivision are the subjects closest to share specific space, since from their daily interaction share a space and time. These actions range from the appropriation of space to create and (re) signification of it. Similarly, consider the social implications, are the result of the process of standardizing a type housing, without really addressing human needs. In this sense, the social implications will be discussed taking into account the experience of contemporary living space in daily life.
